First Quarter CADA Newsletter 2026
Hello, CADA Residents! We are thrilled to bring back our quarterly newsletter to keep you connected and informed. It’s a new year, and we’re looking forward to making it a great one together! This newsletter is your go-to source for community news, important reminders, and updates on what’s happening in our neighborhood.
Please note CADA offices will be closed in honor of Cesar Chavez Day on Tuesday, March 31, and Memorial Day on Monday, May 25. If you have a maintenance emergency during these closures, please call the emergency line at (916) 324-8494. For all other requests, we will be happy to assist you when we return!

Fremont Bloom Installation & Upcoming Resident Appreciation Event
We’re excited to announce the arrival of Fremont Bloom at Fremont Park on Saturday, May 9th! This vibrant installation, brought to life by a partnership between Midtown Parks and CADA with sponsorship from Kaiser Permanente, features 30 eye-catching sculptural blooms, including 6 to 9-foot tall illuminated California poppy sculptures, designed by local artist Gina Rossi in collaboration with Atlas Labs. The artwork will be on display for 45 days, transforming the park into a colorful celebration of art and community.
To keep the festivities going, CADA is tentatively planning a Resident Appreciation Event in Fremont Park on Friday, May 15th, one week after the Fremont Bloom unveiling. While the event details are still being confirmed, we hope to bring everyone together to connect, celebrate, and enjoy this unique addition to our neighborhood while we show our appreciation for YOU. Stay tuned for updates—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

In other news, our CADA Maintenance team is getting a new home! Their new building is currently under construction and they are scheduled to move in this summer. During this transition period, there may be a potential for minor service disruptions. If you experience any delays or issues, please alert your Resident Services Representative (on-site manager) so we can address them promptly.
