Expanding Attainable Housing in the Urban Core
In early 2024, the Capitol Area Development Authority (CADA) proudly approved funding for Studio30, an innovative residential community located at 16th and E Streets in Sacramento. Developed by Urban Capital, this project delivers 30 thoughtfully designed units to the downtown area. The development secured vital support through CADA’s Middle-Income Housing Program, an initiative that specifically serves households earning between 80% and 120% of the Area Median Income.
Studio30 serves as a strong model for expanding attainable housing opportunities within our urban core. The building features a diverse mix of 20 modern studios and 10 one-bedroom lofts, providing much-needed living spaces for local residents. By partnering with developers on creative projects like this one, we actively support the growth of a more accessible, mixed-income city where community members have the chance to thrive.
